Mercedes-Benz Trucks has unveiled the eActros, an electric truck designed for heavy-duty use. Series production of eActros is scheduled to begin at the Wörth am Rhein plant in the second half of the year. In both the 18- and 25-tonne versions, eActros has taken on challenging tasks in a variety of fields. The engineers also extensively tested the eActros electric truck in both extreme heat and winter conditions, with particular attention to the behaviour of the batteries and the electric drivetrain.
