Numerous indigenous peoples in Nepal , collectively referred to as "Adivasi Janajati" in Nepali, live there. Since they have lived in the area for so long, these Indigenous tribes have been able to maintain their distinctive cultures, dialects, and traditions. Similar to this, Indigenous women are the guardians of their cultural heritage, transmitting it to future generations through traditional knowledge, customs, and values. They perform crucial responsibilities in upholding and fostering the distinctive identity of their community while maintaining a close bond with the environment. Indigenous women's rights are actively promoted and promoted by groups like the Nepal Indigenous Women Forum (NIWF).
